Integrating Xero and Shopify POS
To begin, if you haven't already, visit the Shopify website and sign up for an account. Once signed up, you'll have access to your Shopify store dashboard where you can manage your products, sales, and settings.
Next, log in to your Xero account on the Xero website. You'll need to navigate to the dashboard or main page of your Xero organisation where you manage your accounting tasks and financial information.
In your Xero dashboard, locate and click on the "App Store" or "Marketplace" option. This will take you to the Xero App Store where you can explore various integrations, add-ons, and third-party apps compatible with Xero.
Within the Xero App Store, search for the "Shopify Integration by Xero" or browse through the available integrations until you find it. Click on the integration to view more details and proceed with the setup.

Once you've found the Shopify Integration by Xero, click on the "Get this app" button to start the process of connecting it to your Xero organisation. This will initiate the setup process for integrating Shopify with Xero.
Follow the prompts to begin the free trial of the integration. During the trial period, you'll have access to the full functionality of the integration without being charged. You may need to enter payment information, but you won't be billed until after the trial ends.
Provide the URL of your Shopify store when prompted. This will establish the connection between your Shopify store and the Xero Integration, allowing for seamless data synchronisation between the two platforms.
Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your Shopify store to Xero. This may involve logging in to your Shopify account and granting permissions for the integration to access your store data. Once connected, the integration will be able to import sales and other relevant information from Shopify into Xero.

You can import Shopify sales data from up to 90 days prior to setting up the integration. To do so you will need to select the date range that you would like to import.
